Burgos Behavior offers play-based and structured social groups for neurodivergent children and teens. Our groups help build communication, peer interaction, group participation, emotional regulation, confidence, and independence in a supportive setting. Each group is matched based on your child’s age, support needs, independence level, and social goals.

Social Starters

Best For: Children who are just beginning to learn group participation, shared attention, communication, and joining play

Support Level: Highest support with frequent adult guidance, visuals, modeling, and parent involvement [Required]

Schedule: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays, 3:00–4:30 PM

Social Explorers

Best For: Children who need help following routines, staying engaged, and interacting with peers

Support Level: Guided support with staff prompts, visuals, modeling, , in-the-moment coaching, and possible parent involvement

Schedule: Mondays, 4:30–6:00 PM

Quirky Kids

Best For: Children who can manage group routines with less direct help and are ready to practice social skills more intentionally

Support Level: Coached support focused on problem-solving, flexibility, confidence, and independence

Schedule: Wednesdays, 4:30–6:00 PM

Quirky Teens

Best For: Teens who benefit from structure and guidance for self-regulation, group discussions, and awareness of others

Support Level: Structured teen support without the need for structured rewards to stay engaged

Schedule: 2nd and 4th Tuesday, 4:45–6:45 PM

Peer Space

Best For: Teens who can participate more independently and are ready for more advanced social skills

Support Level: More independent support focused on perspective-taking, collaboration, and peer relationships

Schedule: 1st and 3rd Tuesdays, 4:30–6:30 PM

What’s Included

Depending on the group, sessions may include:

Teen groups include 2-hour group sessions with structured activities focused on conversation skills, social cues, and meaningful peer interaction.
